This machine is a single needle, 18” long arm (HIGH VERSION), compound feed with walking foot lockstitch sewing machine. This version allows for sewing of larger work because of the raised upper arm of the machine. It is equipped with a climbing device that allows the adjustment to the alternation of the upper feed of the machine to climb over different thicknesses of material without using any tools. This can be done on the “fly” so downtime of the machine due to setup is virtually nil. It also comes with dual tension assembly to help with thicker threads, a safety clutch and a semi-automatic oiling system. Developed from the regular TN-1508 series machine, it has a working space of 457 mm (18.28″) x 150 mm (6″) which helps with long or larger workloads. It is suitable for sewing medium to heavy duty materials, such tents, cushion, tarpaulins, car cover etc.
